  • Panasonic were only showing two TVs at CES this year, the CZ952 OLED 4K TV that we've already reviewed and their new flagship Ultra HD LED TV the DX900.
In this interview Panasonic's Craig Cunningham talks about the technical innovations in the new TV, including 512 LED zones, a 'honeycomb' construction and diffuser, to deliver deep blacks without unwanted haloing around bright objects. He also talks about the TV's certification as a Premium UHD TV by the Ultra HD Alliance and its increased brightness, wider colour gamut and High Dynamic Range support. Panasonic are also releasing their first Ultra HD Blu-ray player, the DMP-UB900, and Craig identifies the key features before discussing their plans for OLED in 2016, as well as confirming that the full line-up will be announced at the European Convention in February.
