Auro-3D on the move
Whilst at CES 2017, we took the opportunity to sit down with Wilfried Van Baelen to discuss the latest developments in Auro-3D.The immersive audio format has already established itself in the cinema and has been used on both Blu-ray and Ultra HD Blu-ray releases. A recent agreement with Sony Pictures means that more discs will be released in Auro-3D and the format remains hugely popular in terms of music, with a new streaming service launched. More recently Auro Technologies has moved into the automotive market, including a recent deal with Porsche, and they are also entering the mobile market with Indian and French phone manufacturers building the technology directly into the handsets.
