Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens User Review

    Welcome back Star Wars
Review of Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens Movie by BMox81, Dec 17, 2015.
I don't think I've ever seen my local Vue as busy as it was at half 11 last night as I queued to get into my screen. If that doesn't tell you that this film will break all the box office records then nothing will.

I'm not really one for reviews but I'll post up a few thoughts.

Just having that intro on the big screen again gave me goosebumps. Seeing "Episode VII" scroll up and you know everyone is reading it for the first time was pretty special.

You can tell JJ definitely took on board most people's disappointment with the prequels so this is definitely more of a nod to the original trilogy which I think people will enjoy.

Very surprised (much like everyone else in the cinema) that they killed off Han but I think that this new trilogy needed something like this to kick things off in a big way. Wasn't half dragged out though so you knew something was coming.

If I had to say one negative thing about the film,
I thought was the freight scene with the monsters wasn't needed, but I guess that was there for humour purposes(?). But that's me stretching to find something.

I'm not going to overly critique the film because that's not my style. I went to see a Star Wars film and got a Star Wars film so mission accomplished.

    Verdict
