LG 55UF950V User Review

    Very happy with this TV.
Review of LG 55UF950V LED LCD TV by EagleC, Mar 2, 2016.
The IPS panel delivers better colours over a wider viewing angle than VA making it a better choice for family viewing. The speakers are excellent and the smart web os 2.0 is also brilliant. 3D is done excellently including 2D to 3D conversion. Beautiful when hung on the wall.
Only negative points would be the lack of HDR - although this might be available later as a firmware update I hear, and that it does not have the true blacks of plasma or OLED.
I have been unable to see the bars of light from local dimming that the official reviewer complains about - but perhaps that is because I adjusted the TV differently.
This item was purchased for £1999.99 from Richer Sounds in 2016. The reviewer still owns this product.
