Recently got this tv due to 4 lg oled b7 tv's returned due to faults and dead pixels.
I came from a panasonic plasma and in reading reviews I made my mind up to invest in oled technology for 4k. What a waste of time! I honestly will not own another oled until they have improved quality control.
On with the sony.. what a fantastic picture and easily on par with the oled for image quality, I watch mainly hd on sky with 4k and hdr content for films and was blown away with the exceptional handling of brightness when needed, certainly got the wow factor from me.
The black levels are also fantastic, dark scenes are very well handled keeping lots of detail with the wow factor when a bright scene is introduced..
The motion handling is very good and natural with no soap opera effect.
The Android interface is easy enough to use with everything you need available in app, although I'm no expert as I only use Netflix. Dedicated Netflix button on the remote is handy.
The build quality is second to none, very impressed with this tv, looks as good off as on, with good cable management at the rear.
I can't comment on sound with the tv as I use a sound projector.
Hooked up well with my sky q, blu ray player and ysp 2700 although only controls power and volume level..
If you are looking for a new tv this will not dissapoint I'm very happy with my purchase overall and came with the sony 4k blu ray player which was a great incentive to buy in the first place, so glad I did, works amazingly well with this and films look awesome in all their hdr goodness...
Great service from Richer Sounds Prestwich and a great price too thanks!.
