Panasonic DMR-PWT655EB User Review

    Poor
Review of Panasonic DMR-PWT655EB personal video recorder by limblee, Aug 14, 2016.
This was yet another "why did I purchase a launch model" purchase. It's been nothing but glitchy software, slow GUI, freezes and crashing. It often requires unplugging from the mains for a reset. No software updates since Dec '15 (the one that actually activiated the 'play' feature)
Multiple buttons on the remote do almost the same thing (one click less) and no buttons at all to do the basics like jumoing to the next page on the guide or jumping to the next day. If you're watching one channel lets say 102 (BBC Two HD) if you type in a number whilst viewing the guide you'll change to that channel rather see it on the guide. In essence a poorly designed box that can't do the basics properly. For a box that costs £100's you'd think they'd actually test it before launching it. Very disappointed with Panasonic. You've lost a customer here.
