I can't fault the sound, I don't pretend to be an expert but this amp delivers a very full, rich sound in my opinion. It doesn't get bogged down in offering dozens of different sound fields, it keeps it simple and from what I can see it picks up Dolby, DTS, etc and adjusts accordingly so you get the best sound from your source.
My only real gripe is that, while it works well and sounds good, the built in chromecast audio will only work with 2.0ch stereo or all channel stereo, you can't use any sound fields to spread the music around the room. The other "issue" is that there is no easy way to check the input the amp is receiving. The input scrolls across the screen when it first detects it, but after that you can't double check that all is well. It's not a big deal, but sometimes it's nice to know for sure that the amp is receiving what you think it should be.
