    Fun filled adventure
Review of Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens movie by markus0007, Dec 31, 2015.
I have always enjoyed Star Wars from a very young age and couldn't wait to see the Force Awakens movie. I thought the movie reminded me of the original Star Wars which was good as it didn't totally change everything I always loved and remembered growing up. The cinematography was absolutely fantastic and kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. In the force awakens, Abrams shows that he's taken great direction on the moves that Lucas pulled out in A New Hope but seemed to have forgotten in the three execrable prequels that began with 1999s The Phantom Menace. There are, breathtaking vista's that invite a a sense of awe in particular the views of Reys home planet Jakku, littered with the husks of imperial weaponry from the late war, as the legacy of the first trilogy hangs over the film. Abrams all in all has done a fantastic job there are no glaring missteps in the Force Awakens, and on such a stage this kind of performance may even pass for greatness in my opinion. Of course I have even brought out my old light saver for the occasion lol.
