Panasonic TX-50AX802B User Review

  • Cap Loz
    Fabulous 50" 4K monitor!!
Review of Panasonic TX-50AX802B tv by Cap Loz, Jun 19, 2014.
I realise that most here are TV buffs but I purchased this as a large monitor for my PC setup using 2 x AMD 290x via Display Port. Perfect for 4K gaming. Input lag is measured at 37ms in Game Mode and at my level of gaming (mostly simultaions) that is not even noticeable and for the few FPS games that I play, it is good enough.
At first suffered from a mismatch with the MST streaming giving an occasional flicker to the join between the screens. An auto update of the firmware cured this completely. At £1899 this was cheaper than the IPS monitors by Asus or Dell by a long way and you still have all the benefits of a top class TV. Highly recommended.
This item was purchased for £1899 from Panasonic Stoke in 2014. The reviewer still owns this product.
