Bought this 65" LCD 4k UHD TV to replace a Panasonic 65" Plasma. So far, so good. The picture is excellent, especially when watching HDR content.
I was worried it wouldn't live up to my trusty old Plasma, but it has a superb colour range, with deep blacks, and very bright whites.
Only slight niggle, is the viewing angles. When viewing at extreme angles, from the side, the picture is nowhere near as good as it is from the front, and is certainly not as good as a plasma. However, if you always view TV from the front, or from a slight angle, it is superb.
Sound is adequate, for normal TV viewing, and slightly better than the old plasma. I usually use my Bose surround system for watching films though.
I read the reviews, and auditioned the TV in a well known electrical store, then snapped it up, as this is probably the last 3D model you will ever be able to buy from Panasonic. (Or any other major manufacturer)
I now have 5 Panasonic 3D TV's so hopefully one of them will see me out!
I personally believe it is wrong to drop the support for 3D, as I for one, love it. O.K. I don't watch 3D content every day, or even every week, but I love it when I do, and I feel manufacturers should continue to include it on flagship models. It can't cost that much extra to include this feature, as the technology already exists.
I am currently having issues with the I player app, but I am assured by Panasonic that it is only a temporary glitch.
All in all, I highly recommend this TV.
