BenQ W1500 User Review

    Benq W1500 Multiple Use Projector
Review of BenQ W1500 projector by Michael Smith, Jan 3, 2014.
What I love about this projector is it's versatility. It is light enough to move from room to room or bring over a friends or take outside for a outdoor movie. It has a decent built in sound to use for a football game or for casual viewing or even a business presentation. It has a good throw range small to mid size rooms and a small amount of vertical lens shift. The wireless functions while not perfect works well. There are trade offs, such as the average black level performance but it is adequate and the colors are great. I do not know of another projector that is as flexible with this image quality. The only time I can see the rainbow effect is when looking at the test grid. It seemed to me the only projectors with better quality cost a fair amount more and weight twice as much. There are projector with the comparable image quality for the same price or less, but they do not offer the versatility of this projector.
This item was purchased for $1499.00 from Walmart in 2013. The reviewer still owns this product.
