Having bought this soundbar on the basis it was described as compatible with all Smart TV's, the fact is, it is not. My Samsung 55" TV, also less than one year old, cannot be used with the Orbitsound A70 when watching Netflix, YouTube, Amazon TV. The distortion noise is horrendous regardless of how it is connected (optical, bluetooth etc). Samsung logged in to the TV and found no faults. Orbitsound tell me it is compatible but it is not. When I plug in the old soundbar (Panasonic), I have no problems watching and listening to any channel.
I then tried connecting the A70 to my Panasonic 40" TV in another room and although I get sound to the A70 soundbar, it won't pair with the subwoofer. I have spent some hours trying to pair the subwoofer and soundbar, following the instructions to the letter but it will not pair.
So now I have a £450.00 soundbar that is destined for the bin.
18th December 2017 update.
Actually, this soundbar is compatible with the Samsung TV as after a very helpful chap from Orbitsound called me and talked me through changing some settings within the TV itself. So it now works fine except the sound dips in and out but that involves some quite intense software updates to be performed (for the soundbar). So whilst the soundbar does now work with the Samsung TV, it still requires some work to get it 100% operational.
So my verdict and rating has gone from 2 out of 10 to 8 out of 10.
