I have the September build of this TV which I purchased from Currys the first week it became available in the UK.
I would say AV Forums review is definetly reflective of my experience on the set (3 weeks now). The motion judder is really annoying and I had to activate TruMotion with normal broadcast to try and minimise the effect (Update: Almost a month in and the kind community has advised to set Trumotion to User with 0 for both settings, this seems to have done the trick for motion for me on all inputs). As for the black vignetting. It was not prominent when I first purchased my set but for some reason this is really noticeable now on the edges of my set in particular in dark situations. I don't understand why a set that is this expensive is allowed to have such defect. I will be in touch with LG for further advice.
I think this TV is all about the content. Put on Netflix 4K or blu ray and the picture is amazing until the camera moves and judder ruins the experience or you notice the black banding on the right and left edges.
Watch Sky HD and you will want to throw up as the picture quality is horrendous. Sometimes part of the screen show random black and white boxes. Once you see 4K, anything under proper 1080p is just rubbish to watch on this set. (Update: I have changed the settings to that of AVForums review and set the colour tone to cool and it looks lovely now)
