yes it's got 3d, i don't like 3d, had 3d on my last tv, and used it twice, wont be using 3d on this one, it's a gimmik, a fad, a selling point that never took off anyway, and is not even on new tv's! anyway, back to my review, the tv is enormous, and i love it! we just moved so can't find any of my blu rays to test yet, but doing the built in shop demo i can see what the screen can do at home, once again, omg! looked at samsung, most of my items in my house are samsung, tablet, last tv, phone, microwave, washer dryer, vacuum, so i usually just find the best samsung product i can find and buy that, but as this was such a biggie purchase, i compared every manufacturer, samsung came out well down the list, 3rd to be precise! sony, lg, samsung, in that order in my price bracket and screen size, compared all the ones on display at an electronics exhibition, local shops, hughes, currys, etc, and finally decided on the sony monster 75" best decision i have made in a long time, with my ysp5600 sound bar it's like being at the cinema, only the popcorn and a woman selling ice cream is missing! hd channels show up every little blemish, make up line, spots, moles, everything, everyone that has seen it on my wall has said "what the hell" or similar when i put on something hd, at one point a tiger was nearing the screen and actually looked like that bit in the ring where she came out of the telly, it was that sharp and almost 3d looking on normal hdr downloaded content (found some 8k videos, obviously can't display 8k but it did actually look shocking, so real, amazing). had it up 3 weeks now and am over the moon, on fast motion scenes it's just so smooth, ok this wasn't an actual technical review, just my observations, i'll leave the techie stuff to those that know a lot more, i am just an average joe letting you know you wont go wrong with this beast. LOVE IT! shame about sony support, it's crap.
