i thought the dock was just for charging...you would need the A/V cable for that..although i just use a normal red/white port to jack cable to connect it to my disco equipment

Just got mine, nice packaging, no custom charge either, Item was marked as Gift/$35 Value.., took it out the box and it looks great has some weight to it which is a plus, and also you can remove the top Insert, so if your zune is in a thin case might be able to fit in in the dock without removing case, zune slides onto the cradle easily with little force needed..., dockng station has some good grip on base, so not moving anywhere if you knock it, If you have a Brown Zune then it will match the dock.., maybe htey will come out wiht custom inserts, eg..different colours.., anyway overall Thumbs Up..

can you give us a description of what the dock is used for? just charging?
