    Thanks for the info.

Have you noticed though, nobody seems to know the correct ratio of the print & the extras seem to be very vague for a release which is 7 weeks away?

It's definitely 2.35:1, but I wouldn't trust Media Blasters info, even for their own products. They don't seem able to find their ar5e with both hands where decent communication's involved, even though their discs are pretty good

I've even seen this listed as being a 115 minute "uncut never seen before" version, which it isn't.

I'll be waiting for the reviews before ordering just in case Media blasters screw this dvd up like they did with....Werewolf woman, Hitcher in the dark, Zombi 3 , Zombie 3 etc etc.
Fingers crossed they dont mess it up.

I've took the plunge & pre-ordered it from DVDsoon for £9.00.

Like everyone else I hope they don't cock it up?

Is this Zombie Flesh Eaters cos if so i have the original release and its 2.35:1 ( region 1 edition and labelled uncut but missing a scene ) it had terrible image quality and far too much grain, hopefully the new release will cure the picture quality and hopefully the missing scene with the shark will be placed back in the film ( its not a gore scene its a small little scene which is not where it should be ).

Yep this is Zombie flesh eaters aka Zombi 2. This should restore all the missing bits from Anchor Bays old crappy release (and hopefully get rid of the awful DD 5.1 mix) There is a few other little bits missing including the Shark bit. Details of bits missing.... (taken off midnight 1 site)

Blue Underground have had a big hand in this one and they're doing a joint release with Media Blasters, so I don't think we need to fear regarding pic quality.

Videonasty... you might want to check which version you're getting for £9 - Media Blasters are releasing 2 versions - 1 or 2 disc editions, and Blue Underground are doing their own 1 disc edition too.

There's no 5.1 remix this time round according to Blue Underground's site just the original mono, so if the sound elements were available in good enough shape I'd have thought Bill Lustig and his crew at BU would have gone the whole hog with 5.1EX and dts-ES remixes.

I've got faith in this release, but for some reason I can't help feeling its one of those films that'll never get it's "ultimate" dvd treatment. Don't know why, maybe because it's been released so many times by so many companies and none of them have done it justice yet.
