LOL. Man you need help! ;)

If you're a fan of horror, or more important the work of Lucio Fulci (I have most of his movies on VHS, only a few on DVD) then this is a must have. If you're not. Well you work it out :hiya:

I think you should give it a miss though. You could never appreciate such a movie. It's not Gorshin friendly :hiya: :rotfl:

if you like the film the 2 disc set's the best option there is. If you don't go in for extreme gore/low logic "spaghetti" horror movies from the good old days with badly dubbed (if you watch the english dub that is, but who'd want to watch anything else?????) american accents, then this won't be for you.

It really is a classic. Right at the centre of the video-nasty debacle and still unavailable uncut in the uk. It's not Fulci's best movie (his The Beyond is my favourite horror flick of all time :D ) but it delivers the ketchup in abundance and kickstarted the Itallian zombie movie trend that lasted a while through the early 80's. It's well loved, it's infamous, it's notorious, it's beautifully shot, has some great unsettling images and, oh yeah, a ridiculous splinter in a rubber eyeball :rotfl:
It's quality. You'll probably hate it.

Hi, Any suggestions where I can pick up a region 1 The Beyond on
Anchor Bay. I can get it from Amazon for about £17 but thats too pricey.

    Thanks

If I had realised there was a double pack The Beyond/House by the Cemetery
I would of got it.....I never realised. I've recently ordered House by the Cemetery from Amazon.co.uk Thanks for the links you provided...just checked them out, Amazon.com want $60, www.cduniverse.com is far more interesting ....$15, but whats with the back order since 20/03/05...that was ages ago! Any idea why the dvd is so pricey anyway...availability?

It looks like it's been deleted - the double pack certainly has, anyhoo.

It doesn't look like CdUniverse will be able to get stock - I'd try the double pack from DvdBoxOffice or used from Amazon Marketplaces. :)

Why is it other Lucio Fulci - anchor bay dvds like City of the Living Dead, House by the Cemetery are much cheaper....whilst the price of The Beyond is spiralling away like the price of oil....Amazon are now asking £26.99!!! Are there people out there who know something I ought to know? Or is it simply a case of availability and there aren't many copies of The Beyond around!!!

It's just been deleted and the others haven't - Amazon Marketplace sellers are the first ones who stick their prices up astronomically when this happens.
