Nice.. keep us updated please as mine is the same as well. Trying to decide what to do. ThanksFuteko are okay to take the unit back for investigation but asked me to wait 24 hours so that they can get some reply from Zidoo about the front panel display issue.

That's one of the benefits of the dune environment super fast and correct scraping . How much of the recent movies or Tv series did not match and doesn't had a poster or even with IMDb numbers are a no go. I had several but all with movies and series of 2020 and 2021. That was kind of a bummer for me.I got the new Dune HD Reak Vision 4K - arrived today, scraped everything without issue!

The Z1000 pro movie scraping was very fast and accurate with only a handful needing manual intervention. It even picked up a documentary I could never find using Kodi's universal scraper. That's one of the benefits of the dune environment super fast and correct scraping . I accidentally came across the IMDB number feature which was useful for one particularly troublesome foreign film. TV scraping has improved, especially when you use TMDB, but Kodi/Plex and I'm sure Dune are still much better. The advantage of the z1000 over Kodi is in its speed and flexibility to fix mismatches. Yet in terms of TV shows it can still sometimes be a little restrictive. Either way, all my TV shows are matched so as annoying as it was, I no longer have too much to complain about. Especially as I am discovering new features that work so much better than I was used to with Kodi.Three films (out of 357) don't have a poster, two of which I had to use an IMDB number which gave a different film tile (but relevant description), plus another one film that simply will not match (Zack Snyder's Justice League) no matter what I try. At least I can use the 2017 version there
TV series it only failed to find one - Debris from this year

I have less than 600 TV files in total. I definitely would not be using the z1000 pro if I had as many files as you.TMDB didn't work well for me - think I mentioned it ealier in the thread. I did get about 500 out of 3.7k files, TVDB got 0 - despite them all being correctly named
Have about 7K episodes, took me 2 evenings on the Zidoo to match most stuff.I have less than 600 TV files in total. I definitely would not be using the z1000 pro if I had as many files as you.
Yes I am the same. I could replace my Shield with the z1000 pro, but I prefer to use it as a specialist movie and archival TV show device and use the Shield for the day to day. I don't seem to be using Kodi anymore since PW is now my default movie and TV show catalogue.Have about 7K episodes, took me 2 evenings on the Zidoo to match most stuff.
Works fine now, just for certain shows when there is a new episode releases it starts all over again.
use it for movies 99% of the time though in my home theatre.
Shows are being watched in the living room mostly on the Shield/Kodi
Same for me.. shield for tv shows and streaming in the house and zidoo in the home cinema for films. Have zero issues just playing films.Yes I am the same. Personally I would still RMA it and get a replacement.I wanted to give it one last try with the front panel display prior to packing up to return the unit and guess what, its been working fine since then
The front panek display works fine if and when all other devices are in standby. Please can you guys try this and feedback?
1. Power on your Zidoo when the TV and AVR / Soundbar is off or on standby
2. Check if the front panel display shows up on the Zidoo.

Have you tried hitting it with a hammer?
Lol no but did gently tap the unit with my filthy hands.
If that was my reporting then I did elaborate later that it was still mostly crap lol. The solution was to use TMDB not TVDB but I'm glad yesterdays release finally fixed it. I've just installed it myself but my files have all already been fixedSo the Dune went back - after working with Simon at Futeko we found it kept negotiating down it's ethernet connection speed and that was causing issues with high bitrate files.
Got a second Z1000 Pro after reports on here that the latest Beta sorted a lot of the scraping issues out with TV shows. It did not.
However, the issue is being raken seriously on the Zidoo forums, and the new HT 4.0.76 that was posted yesterday has finally resolved it for me - has maybe 7 files that need a manual tweak (out of over 3.5k). Very happy with it now.
Oh, and had to switch to using SMB shares from NFS - NFS stuttered a lot, SMB has been rock solid
It's a Beta on the Zidoo forums that you have to download and install manually.new HT version? Haven't touched my Zidoo in a few days, how do I get it? Or is there an automatic update prompt or something?
NFS is rock solid for me btw, or did it start stuttering after the update for you?

NFS is traditionally viewed as a more efficient protocol than SMB. With the Zidoo I find both protocols work equally well but NFS shares are found a lot quicker. It sounds like you have an issue with your NFS server.
