Check and recheck the RF cabling.

Check and recheck the aerial positioning.

If it isn't already - the first appliance the RF downlead should connect into after it comes out of the wall should be the digibox, followed by VCR (if any) and then TV.

If all is correct, borrow (if you can) another box from someone.

You may be able to isolate the problem to the box itself which may, of course, be defective.

    Apoligies nigel........

Returned the box for exchange.......still no signal!

    Sat and thought a little........

Bingo..when I had the Ondig, it was on another aerial..

After I trashed Ondig, I rewired from the aerial we were using, which was mounted fairly low on a wall, by 'stealing' a downlead. (We live in a 3 story block of flats) which was connected to an aerial right up top.

After now reading up a little, I realise the one atop the building is probably 25 years old, probably group A for the Sandy Heath transmitter, and I need a Wideband job to receive both Analogue AND DTT from that transmitter...........

Will be going to Focus/B&Q/Argos etc first thing in the am, and will be celebrating new years eve up a ladder in the rain..:smashin:
