Was just browsing and came across this :

    http://www.zensonic.com/press_z500.php

....does not mention anything about Progressive scan though.

    Look quite good.

Anyone had any experience with Zensonic?

Looks like it could beat the forthcoming kiss 600 player to market, and it's got quite a good feature set. Hopefully they won't be too difficult to get hold of.
Never heard of the company before, (they're Australian), but they've got user support forums which usually means good relations with customers.

Bringing this to the top so I can keep an eye out for it.

    Looks a very impressive machine.

If anyone has European release news please post.

Plans for release in Europe are disclosed in a latest News Bulletin which also covers the changes at Zensonic into Ziova.
    http://www.mpcclub.com/ziova/index.htm

(We made it a seperate article so it can not be confused with the fact we
are "stealing" members from AV Forums. hence, we target different things as
we only do DIVX Hardware and media Server Storage solutions and nothing
    on the side.)

    I own one.
It's a reasonably good machine with few major flaws is in USB compatibility , absence of multilingual subtitle support and absence of ability to change AVI audio tracks - two last I think a "product killers" in Europe.

Also it boots from standby a bit too slow on my taste (performs full boot) and have no clock.
Otherwise I think it's pretty good player , ability to play from SMB (Samba windows shares) and play .IFO and .ISO DVD files over the network stand it out from competition.

The developers are supportive and responsive to user request , thing that can't be said about one of the admins SeeMoreDigital on their forums.
While guy is an expert in MPEG area he is well ... self righteous zealot and lousy moderator.

I do not think player is ready for Europe (besides UK) yet for the reasons above but it's a goods player and if English is your native language or you understand it fully and you lucky enough to have your USB drive or/and enclosure work with it - it is better then any other current Sigma based player.
