Having demoed the 5700 . (I was plagued by the Rainbow effect really badly)
I have a predicament and would appreciate any help. Do I go for The Z3 (lcd) no rainbows? .good price and free bulb or .............wait for a demo (when?) of a H79 hoping it doesn`t yeild the RE..

I would recommend demoing a projector before buying if possible. Thanks to the very nice people at Creative Audio I was able to sample the 5700 and find I was susceptable to RE .

My local sevenoaks had a H78DC3 in - presumably someone near you will have a 78 even if they don't have a 79 so you can judge for yourself.

BTW I saw some rainbows on the H78DC3 on a 1080i HD feed but they did not bother me unduly and thing is so damn quiet I want one anyway.
