    Hello everybody !
I’m new of the forum and I write from Italy (sorry for my english!). I’m going to buy a LCD projector and, for more than one reason, I want to decide between Sanyo Z3 and Hitachi Pj-Tx100.
I would to connect it with my HTPC in DVI-HDMI and this is my question: is it true that Z3 can soffers of problems like “double outlines” (like “edge enhancement”) and the Hitachi not ?
I read this on the test of Cine4home of both the machines and I ask me (and to you) if is it true.

Really thanks a lot to everyone who will reply me !!

    Bye

    Hi there

I have a z3 taking a hdmi to hdmi signal from a Pioneer 868 and can tell you that in my setup at least there is no such phenomenon

    Cheers

I have seen "haloing" on the TX100. I think I get it because I have the sharpness turned up on both Pio 575 and the TX - but I like sharp pics! I don't think it's a fundamental aspect you should base your decision on....PJ

PS I run it via component

Thanks at all ! now I wait for a answer by Z3-HTPC user and I'll got all the casistics !

...sure this feature isn't the only aspect that I consider but is important for me for a "cinema like" imagine ;) ! After all I thinks both projectors are good within really big bugs...

what about noise level of hitachi fan ?

    bye, bye

It seems some TX units can be noisey, but I don't think it's a common issue. I guess the fan will have more work to do in sunny Italy vs the "grim North" of the UK though!

    Good luck!...PJ
