Just curious how people are mounting all those new Z2's out there..
I have mine slung under a wall mounted shelf with my DVD player above on the top side of the shelf.
I haven't fully decided how to mount mine yet.
If I go the LMP route, it won't be until next year sometime when I can afford it.
The DIY route is tempting, but I have this nagging feeling that I'll mess it up somehow...
I voted Custom/DIY as I customised a portable TV stand myself (turned it upside down )
For those still umming and arring go for keystone correction bits, even though the 2 has lens shift, I wish I had. WIthout it if the mount is perfectly level the projector will require keystone correction. You can get round it by using washers in addition to the spacers. Better all round to have the mount do the correction for you
I'm still worried about mounting mine as I don't have a clue where the ceiling joists are! Anyone know how I can find them without making too many holes? Are there any sucessfull and cheap 'sonar' type sensors or anything?
Got one from screwfix that worked a treat. Even through Artex in my case which apparently can be problematic..
Just got a lmp mount on order 20cm with twin keystone adjustment do you think it's to long though ?
I was lucky enough to get the free LMP mount so it is on my ceiling waiting for the final installation on thursday!
I've ordered the 20cm with twin keystone adjustment.
It's arriving on Wednesday.
I couldn't be sure that the celings in my house are level.
Good choice, they wont be
