    i bought a z2 last week, and yesterday i notice 2 bright (white) pixels on an image, could you tell if this is a problem?

    Sounds like dead pixels to me. So yes I would say thats a problem.

    I'm presuming the dealer didnt offer a dead pixel check. Best you can do is contact your dealer and have a moan.

    but it doenst' happen all the time, only in some images,

    faulty pixels then..... i had a few on an old machine that were like this, but when i sold it, we had a good look and neither myself or the buyer was able to see them.

    This might be a long shot but have you checked the screen?

    I had a scare in my first week that turned out to be small pieces of tinsel of the xmas decorations. :blush:

    i will check the screen, if it be dead pixels, happens all the time, right?

    yeah..... there is tollerance for a few of them on every unit, so it is probably more common to have them than not.

    Could be dust. Sometimes these look like open pixels, although they usually appear green.
    You can tell if its dust because you can focus in on them, just like you would with a microscope.
