    Hi.
I have a sanyo z2 which i have had for a few months now.

I have been watching all movies on expanded widescreen ( zoom) as i have a fear that consistent viewing in natural widescreen mode produces screen burn.

Anyhow, i have recently noticed that when i do a widescreen zoom ( i.e. fill the screen with the widescreen image) , its cutting off the top and bottom of the picture a good 4 inches or more top and bottom ( on a 120 inch screen size)

im wondering if there is any way to adjust the image once in ZOOM mode, a bit like you can do on widescreen tv's so you can trim it to get all the picture in.

To clarify, this is nothing to do with the ZOOM FOcus ring.

On the SCREEN SIZE ADJUSTMENT MENU you have the following choices:-
FULL, FULL THROUGH, ZOOM, CAPTION IN, NORMAL, NORMAL THROUGH, NATURAL WIDE.

the manual says that you can "get an image to fit the screen size."
the pictures in the manual dont give any reference to cropping.

so if i am watching a dvd on "full" standard widescreen setting and i select "zoom" to fill the screen , the top and bottom gets cropped even though there was black bars on the image anyway, its cropping off too much.
    any replies will be appreciated

    thanks
