Just thought I'd share with you my experiences with trying to get a long (10m) DVI cable that worked with my Z2.
First off I tried a generic one but that was totally unwatchable - but at least I got a visible picture.
I therefore decided to gamble on one of the expensive ones, considered the bettercable design but I think I remembered zAndy1 having problems a while back. Did a web search for dvi cables & discovered Cobalt Cables in the US, anyway long story short took the plunge & ordered last week.
Well arrived today - 1st impressions was that this was a big diameter cable for DVI-D only (dual link) & so flexibility is a bit of an issue (I had to move the rear PJ mount support off centre to accomodate). Fingers crossed, fired up the PC & selected 1280x720, WOW is all I can say (compared to component out non-prog from Pio 515). This cable is a winner, no picture drop-outs what so ever. I can thoroughly recommend them - email response to queries was next day. They also have money back guarantee, so you just pay shipping. But from my experience you won't be sending it back.

There is a 10% off coupon deal too !
BTW, this was my first attempt at HCPC, thanks to those that struggled with getting 1:1 mapping working
. For info I used the Rage 3D tweaker to add 1280x720, set Z2 to HDCP (AV) & everything hooked up like clockwork
