My mate's Z1 turned itself off over the w/e, less than 100 hours. It's not the worst of it unfortunately, it now fairly regularly 'freezes', not accepting a video signal, ie sits there with a blue screen, and with no response to remote commands, or to buttons on the projector. The only recourse is to turn it off at the mains, then turn it on again and restart to get the fan going again. Any similar problems? Don't want to send it back with Xmas approaching, so that's the last resort. Any ideas appreciated.

a Z1 that did exactly the same things a while back. Returned to the dealer who promptly agreed that it was faulty. Did not buy another Z1 after that as I had three faulty machines in less that two weeks, which got a little silly.

    Send it back?

Thanks Captain, funny they said they'd never heard of it before! That's the UK agent... I'll have some more words I think.

Did you try resetting the hardware?

There's a little button on the case, just press it and voila.

    It's worth a try.
