Z1 diy Mount for £8

    Having looked around at the various diy mounts around i nicked a few ideas ( sorry to any1 involved)

    i knocked this one up from bits and bobs from B&Q if you want a parts list or any comments good or bad please post here:

    Any chance you could post a parts list. Looks like a neat easy job but it is always more simple if you know exactly what bits to get.

    Parts list as follows:

    1no 9" X 13" 12mm thick mdf/ply.... i used mdf and painted it
    1no furniture leg aluminium from b&q
    7no 60mm m6 bolts
    10no washers for above
    10no nuts for bolts


    any more info just ask

    the ali leg comes in three parts
    1 the body
    2 bottom abjuster which i drilled through
    3 top adjuster which already has holes through it.....
    1+2 thread into the main body


    i didnt have any joist where i wanted to position mine so i used toggles http://www.screwfix.com/app/sfd/cat/pro.jsp?ts=49689&id=15328

    Why have you got that 60w bulb hanging from your Sanyo ? To up the ansi ? :D :D :D

    no seriously this pj lark had to be real wife friendly otherwise it was going to be a no,no..

    firstly she werent too happy about moving the furniture around,
    secondly she didnt want cables everywhere
    thirdly she definetly didnt want a screen on show....

    so ive had to compromise and compromise but finally ive almost got what i want:clap: :clap: :clap:

    i used a speaker stand for my mount.

    only down side, was drilling 2 holes in the ceiling to get it through.
    but its very neat so pretty happy about it.

    beece nice job,
    unfortunately i havent got access to ceiling void,
    my upstairs neighbour might dissaprove a bit::nono: :nono:
