Hi all, just a quick question to anyone out there in the know.

I've been trying to think of a solution to my lack of a 5.1 system at the moment. I can't really accomodate an AV receiver so was thinking of going either all in one or for a system like the Logitech z-5500 or z-5400.

The problem with all in one's is that i'd like to connect up my Xbox 360 too and very few come with an optical in, which is where I got on to the Logitech systems.

From what i've been reading the z-5500 is obviously the more powerful but doesn't look quite as wife-friendly as the z-5400 does. Plus the z-5400 has one more optical in than it's big brother (for SkyHD maybe  ).

Can anyone out there recommend me any alternatives to what i've mentioned?

Also has anyone experienced the z-5400 and can tell me if it's a good sounding system?

    Cheers, Dan

I'm looking at the same model. I've read a few revies from customers on the web and it's rated highly - clean sound and thumping bass.

Just type in 'Logitech Z-5400 review" in Google.

Best deal is at Amazon for £138 with free delivery.
