Ysp 2200 soundbar and panasonic blu ray.

    SYSTEM;YSP 2200 SOUNDBAR/PANASONIC TX-P42GT50B TV/PANASONIC BD-35 BLU RAY/SKY+HD
    SET UP AS FOLLOWS;SKY OPTICAL TO SOUNDBAR OPTICAL/BLU RAY HDMI TO SOUNDBAR HDMI/SOUNDBAR TO TV HDMI(ARC)/SHY HDMI TO TV.
    1.PERFECT SOUND ON SKY HD ie SURROUND ETC
    2.NO PICTURE OR SOUND ON BLU RAY
    2.NO SOUNDBAR SOUND ON FREEVIEW

    CAN ANYONE POINT ME IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION.

    Does the bluray player work okay when connected directly to the TV? Have you tried a different input on the soundbar and on the TV (non ARC)? Have you tried different cables?

    Does the soundbar have any menu function? If you can see a menu on-screen, you will know that the cables are fine.

    If you have Sky, do you watch Freeview? For ARC to work, you usually have to enable it on the TV by turning ARC / Vierra Link etc. on. Same goes for the soundbar.

    Thanks for your reply.I now have connected an optical from blu ray to soundbar,skyhd is connected from sky optical to soundbar optical .The result now is that the blu ray works both picture and surround and also I have surround through freeview,but no surround through skyhd films.What am i doing wrong.?

    You said in your first post you were getting sound from sky+HD?
