I have to choose between 2 LCD TV's both capable of progressive scan but they got different component input (see topic). What type of component input is best for console? The component cables I got is monster for ps2/xbox and the official nintendo component cable for gamecube.

Console component cables are compatible with YPbPr (analog component), so that's the one you'd want.

    Cheers, Carl.

I do think that it's acutally the same, only two different names for the component signal.

yeah theres only one really. The analog through component (or the japanese D4). Or the newer digital HDMI/DVi interfaces.
