This is always changing for me, but my top three favorite apps right now (I'm excluding the basics like Facebook, google):

Shazam - endless fun in the car, impresses your buddies
Yelp - almost better than google at finding stuff
Ustream - great for personal broadcasting

    What are your top 3??

    Hi,

1 - The Sky Sports Football Centre.
Means I can watch films/TV, and still keep up to date with all the latest scores, without having to keep flicking back to Sky Sports News. Also useful if I'm out somewhere, and would be even better if I could get a 3G signal at Elland Road on a Saturday afternoon :D

2 - The National Rail app.
The only app I've paid for (£4.99), but I immediately wondered why i didn't buy it sooner. I can see exactly where my train is, whether it's on time and if not, how long it's delayed by. Handy if you don't want to hang around on a freezing platform on a morning, and prefer another cup of tea instead !

    3 - Sky Remote Record.
Takes a little while to load the planner, but has stopped me missing out on things that I've discovered have been on whilst I wasn't at home.

I'm not sure how I lived without an iPhone before !

    Ian.

    Rob,

What is logmein like on the iphone? How does it scale the desktop?

I am loathed to pay out for the app when it costs so much (relative to other iphone apps) and there is no trial

MyPhone+ (£1.79) - downloads all or a selected number of your facebook contacts with caller photo attached.

    Twitterific (Free) - Twitter App

TapaTalk (Free) - Read only app for viewing forums without all the graphics and fancy stuff to slow it down. Text is large and easy to view. Considering getting the paid version which allows you to post replies, etc.

Golfshot GPS, a very good app, a bit pricey at £17.99 but compared to a standalone golf gps unit an absolute bargain.

If you don't play golf then probably not for you:D

London Bus (Malcolm Barclay one) - perfect for finding your way around. If you live in London, get it!

Viz Profanisaurus (still need to be improved as it hasn't got a search function but I live in hope) - If you are unsure, look up Bowling Shoe

Geared - Just a fun little game
