I'm a heavy Jack Daniel's drinker and drink the old no 7 with coke or at worst lemonade.

I keep a bottle of the Jack Daniel's silver select at just over £50 a bottle, with a little ice on its own its soooooo smooth and just goes down a treat, I wouldnt dare ruin it with coke.

    Anyone got any favourites ?

Crown Royal and dry isn't bad at all.

Or Canadian Club and dry if no Crown Royal is available.

Guinness to start with for a night out. When I've had enough, move on to vodka and coke or Jameson coke, but the whiskey gives me a hangover - but it tastes so nice.

Also find Magners/Bulmers good for the morning after cure.

    But I'll usually drink anything.

Carlsberg or Bulmers to get going the SC and ice to get drunk.

When drunk (which isn't often) I'll get stuck into Tequilla, no salt or lemon though. :zonked:

Jack Daniel's straight or on the rocks, Jack Daniel's + coke or Jack Daniel's + Disaronno + coke (what I'm drinking right now).

Yes, I like Jack Daniels... Generally get through a bottle or two a week between me and the missus :)

There's a few whiskey shops round here in London that sell it. Or you can get it online from thedrinkshop.com.

I've just finished a lovely shot of Jack D SS. It really is sooooo smooth going down and a lovely after taste.

Can I recommend for anyone that does like Jack D (Old No 7) that you should also give Gentleman Jack a try. Around £25 a bottle. Its pretty good.

Best bottle of Jack D I've ever had is the Gold Medal 1904, only ever had it once at £100 but its simply some of the best stuff thats tickled the taste buds. :D :smashin:

    Wine - Sauvignon Blanc
Spirits - G&T or home made Margaritas (whiskey bad, so very bad)
Beer - Guinness, almost any draught wheat beer, prone to try ales with strange names.

Whilst on a visit to a wee pub once I rushed 3 pints of "Hooky" (Hook Norton) just before closing on an empty stomach just because I liked the sound of the name  and my legs stopped working below the knees.

Beer - Cains bitter. Cheap, tasty, usually well kept, and no chemicals!
Spirits - Famous Grouse. Can't stand that foul, sickly yank muck! ;)
Wine - Paul Masson Red. Relatively cheap, smooth, and not too strong. Can't stand all these 13.5 and up reds. They give you a wicked hangover!

Bourbon such as Jim Beam black label on the rocks and JB + coke. I like a good scotch whisky
    I also like Port

Apart from this Victoria Bitter and Carlton Cold sometimes. I can't stand stout (cooper's stout, guinness)

A pint of Heineken always goes down well.

Can't understand why people like Jack Daniels. Its the vilest, most putrid drink on earth.

VB??? Noooooo! Carlton Cold? Mate. (If you have to drink Aussie lagers give Carlton Draught or Melbourne bitter a go. Better yet James Squires or James Boags). :D

Beers - you can't go past Franziskaner Dunkel, James Squires Amber Ale and Innes & Gunn
Wines - Nobilo Sauvignon Blanc or Oyster Bay Sauvignon Blanc
Champagne - Veuve Clicquot (+ La Grande Dame on a special occasion :))
    Mixers - Bloody Mary

What's wrong with Carlton Cold or VB? I like them, although I agree Boags is good and I also like Hahn Premium and XXXX.
Apart from Fosters/XXXX, Aussie beer is difficult to get hold of in the UK unless you order online.:(

I usually have a good selection of spirits in the cupboard as I like cocktails too.

Have you tried Peckhams? Not sure if there are any near you but they usually have Hahn Premium, Hahn Light, Tooheys New, James Boags, Crown Lager, and Cascade (along with VB and XXXX). :smashin:

Depends on my mood, but generally Red Wine (especially Merlot), Magners, Dry Martini's, and Port are my regular tipples depending on what mood i'm in.
