i'm waiting for RS to get some more yamaha rxv630's in stock and when i get it i want to use it for 5.1 and the bspeker option for 2 seperate speakers in another part of my room for playing audio cd's.

now my Q is this amp comes with one amp ( i believe) to run 2 speakers, the speakers i have are accoustic solutions from curry's you know the floor standers for £50 half price. now these speakers do pump the sound out quite nicely so will the one amp be sufficient enough to run these speakers??? or will it eventualy ruin the amp.

    thanx.

The 630 will be fine and have enough power in 2 chan mode to Muller these cheapies if you over do it :D

The speakers A + B are in parallel, so if you are using two 8 ohm speakers, the amp will be driving a 4 ohm load.

I used a dsp-ax620 in my last system to drive 4ohm floorstanders front and rear with no probs:smoke:
