I've completely failed to watch any of the films on my list, I've had Salom's Lot sitting next to my player for a week unsealed and unwatched. I keep getting dragged out of the house in the evenings to take part in this strange ritual called 'being sociable?':D

      "out ...of... the... house"?
The phrase seems familiar but I can't quite place it.

Started my Halloween viewing last night with a rewatch of Hereditary.
Enjoyed it even more on the second viewing.

Tonight I might attempt a double bill of Creepshow and Young Frankenstein.

Not quite as many as those listed above, but watching The Ritual tonight and probably Halloween H20 tomorrow! (Having watched the original last weekend and also the new version at the cinema - feel I need to see H20 again as remember it being a fun ride!).

The Devil Rides Out last night and Dracula Prince Of Darkness tonight. I want to continue with Carry On Screaming tomorrow but that will depend on how well we're feeling as we've both been pretty ill this last week. We might not have the energy for a good laugh.

I watched The Shining last night.

One of those films that I view and think "why don't I watch this more often?"
      A genuine horror classic.

Nothing yet. I have watched seasons 1 and 2 of Slasher. Which is surprisingly gory.

Watched Friday the 13th VI - Jason Lives the other night. Love it. Not scary but very entertaining. Some good humour and some excellent kills. Even the cast are not as annoying as is usually the case in these movies.

Need to watch The Thing and the prequel at some point. But in what order??? Superior film first or newer film first...

Halloween H20 is on Sky (W HD) at 10pm tonight! Was about to pay to rent it but saw it’s on in 10 mins! Only downside is the adverts!

EDIT. Just finished watching. Not as good as I remembered. Not a lot happens for the middle hour! The latest version in the cinema is soooo much better! Oh well glad I didn’t pay to watch it in the end.

I've only managed to watch Salem's Lot and The Thing from my list. I also associate horror films with Christmas so I've actually got til the end of the year to watch the rest.

With both of us still not being well I almost abandoned watching Carry On Screaming. Apart from anythingelse laughing has been hurting and bringing on even more coughing. @Jim Di Griz reminded me of Lifeforce which I haven't seen in quite a while so I had that on the substitute's bench. As it was we were able to watch and thoroughly enjoy Screaming.

Managed two films last night - Young Frankenstein and Salem's Lot.
Completely different takes on horror (if you can call YF a horror) but both very enjoyable.

I'm aiming to continue the horror binge for a few more days - if Christmas can have 12 days, why can't Halloween? :D

I started the night of early with sticking Night on a Bald Mountain section of Fantasia which some of the scenes are quite erie but others bring it back to cartoon level.
Then was onto Aliens the extended edition.
The onto the pièce de résistance, Night of the Demon which I though rounded the evening off before turning in and then mistakenly stuck the commentary on to just get 5 min of it and 50 min later had to drag myself away one of the best if not the best and very well researched and look to watching the remainder of it today.

Night On Bald Mountain - Fantasia (1941)...

Erm... one of the most famous literary Ghost Stories is set during Christmas Eve and I'm sure everyone knows it; A Christmas Carol. One of the most celebrated Christmas films, It's A Wonderful Life has the main character attempt suicide, some argue successfully, is saved by an angel and spends most of the latter half of the film essentially as a ghost. Then we have this:

A Ghost Story for Christmas - Wikipedia

Ghost stories are more or less implied, and a A Christmas Carol and It's A Wonderful Life are hardly horror. Nothing like hands being bit off or bodys being ripped apart.
