Having seen the thread about herbal tea, I was wondering how much tea I got through in a day, and although it does change from day to day, I'd say I'd typically go through a minimum of 7 mugs (not tiddley cups) of tea. Is this a lot or not?

How much hot beverage do you consume a day?

i have to say that this is something that has bothered me, ive already had 5 cups of coffee already. 3 of thoese were literally one after the other lol

I probably have same as you about 7 cups of coffee but they are always up until dinner time, very rarely have any when i get home if it is its a cup of tea.

Evening drink unless its alchy is ginger beer or lemonade :)

I drink two, occasionally three cups of tea per day. One in the morning, one at lunch time and sometimes one late evening.......

I have a mug on the go at all times. Drink it hot and cold (tea or coffee) and a mug might last me 3hrs but a drink available at all times.

    Weekdays:

One cup of coffee at approx 6:15 am just after getting up.
One cup of tea at work at 11:00.

    Weekends:

Coffee/Tea whenever I feel like it - about 6 or so in total per day.

I MUST have coffee first thing in the morning though, or the day is a non-starter...

Probably about the same. Thick builders tea (not sugar) in the morning. Herb tea for the rest of the day. Back to the builders tea in the evening

I would think that I drink anywhere between 10 and 15 cups of coffee each and everyday, at least, with my last cup of the day being at around 10 pm.

    I LOVE COFFEE:thumbsup:

Up to a dozen, (but usually about) 8 cups (mugs) per day of Twinnings Earl Grey. Whenever SWMBO is in the UK she re-stocks, last time coming back with 12 boxes of 100. That should keep us going for a while.

I'm a big fan of Ginger beer, but most of the supermarket stuff, I find, doesn't really have enough kick (Old Jamaican is the best) but a while ago I did try this recipe, and it was pretty good.

I can't stand coffee (although I love the smell of it). At a previous job we had a perculator permanently on the go and I even tried to force myself to like it. Didn't work though. :(

Only time I can drink tea is when eating a fry-up.

Otherwise it's Redbull all the way for me (up to 4 tins a day)

Wifey has up to 10 cups of tea a day.

Good heavens! Obviously caffeine doesn't give you any problems with getting to sleep then if you have one at 10pm.

Have you worn a track in the carpet between your seat and the smallest room in the house? ;)

Nope, there was a stage where I couldn't sleep so I stopped drinking coffee for about a month, but it didn't help.

Somepeople claim that drinking coffee makes them all hyper, I don't ever feel like this no matter how much coffee I've drank.

    I LOVE COFFEE:thumbsup:

Forget about sick days having an effect on the economy. All these coffee breaks followed by loo break's must be costing companies a fortune in down-time.!!!

I have a cup of coffee in the morning, then sip herbal or green tea all day, and some sort of caffeine free infusion late at night. I generally have a break from tea in the evening for a glass of a different sort of beverage :)

Of a work day I have three mugs of filter coffee a day- black no sugar. At the weekend I have a mug of filter coffee when I get up and maybe one late afternoon.

Tea is only consumed when hungover.

    Yeah, Nescafe

Nothing flash for me. I would hit Starbucks or any other Coffee Store every time I past one and just drink their basic blend of coffee.

All I need is a cup, a spoonful and a half of Nescafe, a little milk and hot water.

Don't like coffee when it's overly strong, it just leaves me with a really bad taste me my month.

As for a man that LOVES COFFEE, you would have thought that he would have made the jump to a proper coffee making machine. Well, if truth be told, I did. It just takes too long and I would never be able to fit in as much drinking if I had to use one all the time.

I also have an Espresso machine. It came with cups, but they're the size of Egg Cups. I think I would poison myself if I started using it all the time.

Having went through a few machines, I've tried a few different types of coffee beans, and found some of them to be really nice, but for the love of me I can't remember what they were called.

    I LOVE COFFEE:clap:

    My Study? :D

I have around 8-12 cups a day depending on how bored I am, normally have one on the hour every hour at work [after a tab] then a few at home.

I generally drink 5 or 6 cups of tea a day (no sugar). I used to have a coffee at work but it started to cost me a fortune:rolleyes:

On the weekend I put some effort in and make a nice cup of perculated Illy coffee, loverly stuff:smashin:

Edit: I generally think I drink alot, but drinking buckets of tea is better than snacking all day at my desk.

Here's an interesting question, well in my eyes it is.

Are any of the heavy coffee drinkers smokers?

I believe it was once said that a cup of coffee and a cigarette goes hand in hand. Don't quote me on that.

No I don't smoke but used to many years ago so maybe I'm still in that habit of drinking a lot of coffee ?
I gave up drinking coffee at the same time as I gave up smoking but have drifted back to coffee.
