Ok I have roughly 1000-1200 quid to spend on a 30 inch LCD TV.

So far I have narrowed it down to these 3 LCD's.

    1. Toshiba 30WL46
    2. Philips 30PF9946
    3. Iiyama C300WT

I have heard quite a bit about the Toshiba but hardly anything about the other two. Especially the Iiyama (Anyone got one please post your opinion).

When in Currys I thought the Philips picture looked better than the Toshiba but this may have been the way they had them set up.

Any advice would be helpful please?????

MMMM just been reading that for future proofing it would be advisable to have HDMI compatible LCD tv for the new HDTV that sky is introducing.

Don't think any of the above are compatible

For me the 30WL46 is the best between these 3.

The Philips is a bit old and cant compete in terms of contrast or response time..The blacks are closer to grey and colors a bit washed out...

I havent seen the Iiyama by myself but I have read a magazine review which was pretty severe so well it doesnt seem very good...
