Young ones box set R1 review

Goodness! I would never have expected the Young Ones to have been successful in the USA considering that it was 'alternative' comedy here in the UK and based solely around UK student life.

I assume that it was a hit in the US/Canada, hence the R1 release, and that the ditributors are not just catering for the NTSC fan?

While out in the U.S. a couple of years back, The Young Ones used to show @ 10pm on their Comedy Central channel.

Still a great show, along with Bottom and Filthy, Rich & Catflap (bring em back chaps).

Does anyone know whether this version has copyright issues like the old one??

I know that they had to cut alot of the original live bands and music which was why I stuck to my original full VHS (converted to DVD now) version, but would still like to upgrade when and if they do finally get their act togethor and produce a complete version.

Cheers,

Dave.
