You can replace the tweeter in the B&W DM601S2 speakers

    Just thought that people might be interested to know that you can replace the metal tweeter diaphragm in the B&W DM601S2 (and, presumably, other models in the range) for a very reasonable £15.99 including P&P direct from B&W.
    Apparently it's a fairly simple DIY job - no solder etc. involved.

    I emailed them yesterday evening to ask if it was possible and had a reply in my email inbox before 9am this morning - that's what I call service. :thumbsup:

    I've replaced one of my Mission drivers before and the service was excellent and the replacement was very easy. It did require basic soldering though as I didn't own a crimping tool at the time! :)

    Yes, I replaced my crossovers and tweeters in my Mission speakers. I was given brilliant service and excellent guidance on how to install the new compponents, even though it was so very easy.
