I'm a newbie so hi everyone. Well I've been waiting for this moment for 12 months now and it's finally happened. I promised myself that I'd buy my first HD ready 32 incher as soon as the price dropped below £800 - and here it is:

    £799 HDTV

The reviews seem to be very good and they are a well established brand, so I think I'm going to take the plunge!

Does anyone know of anything cheaper?

Yes there is cheaper... but the connectivity on the panel is excellent... DVI and DSUB... Component, Scart...you name it...

It looks ugly with the speakers but without them I think it looks sleek.... the price looks good overall and the 2 year warranty offers peace of mind..... this is a definate alternative for me if my Tevion issues are not sorted out.

SCABBY:- any chance you can change the title of your post include the make/model name please?

The Trusted Reviews review does seem very good... http://www.trustedreviews.com/article.aspx?art=1253

I think there might well be a price drop. The fact that some are offering buy now pay in 12 months time would suggest that

I want just to get an LCD TV now but think i'll be sensible and wait for:

    A) The winter so I'll get more use from it as i'll be in more often.
    B) The football season to start, so to watch games.
    c) The Xbox 360.

    But I want one now.

Last month I could afford a 26" lcd tv, now with these price drops I can afford a 32" one for the same ammount. I would expect these screens to drop even further in price in the coming months, and there is no use for them for me until sky launches hdtv, and ps3, xbox 360 get released. So the idea is to wait, and get and even better one towards the end of the year.
