I have an MJ.acoustics pro 50 sub that I've always had attached to my amp via the low.level / pre out RCA sockets. All was fine.
I recently bought a new amp with no pre out and have connected my sub via the hi level speakon cable. Just plugging the cable into the sub (either attached to the amp or not) I get a loud hum and no sound from the sub. Any ideas? The low level input's still fine.
