Could anyone tell me if there are any other flat wall mountable speakers out there? Preferably at a lower cost as this is a little out of my price range.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks!

i got the ysp 800 at Christmas paired up with a decent sub gives a very good sound. its got bags of power to.its a bargain considering you don't need a amp to power it like in a conventional 5.1 setup..

Worth keeping your eyes on the classified on here as the YSP 800 occasionally comes up for sale. One went earlier today and I got mine on here for £350 as new.

Hi, I want to buy this speaker for a client but he also listens to music as well as watches movies. Can he use his existing speakers for the stereo sound as well as using this speaker for the surround? I will ask him to connect a sub as you guys mentioned.

    Thanks.

Sorry, another question. Why does the speaker have a composite video output when there isnt a video input (at least i cant see one from photgraphs of the back)

The video output is to allow the display of the menu/setup on your tv/screen.
Ref the first part of your question, wont this defeat the point of getting the YSP as it can be set to produce stereo as well as other modes, its not just for surround effects.
