Advice appreciated. I have the YSP-500 Soundbar with the WK 86950 remote.
Recently, the red light on the remote has started to blink continuously.

Very annoying for my boss (wife) during the night!

I renewed batteries, but problem remains. I thought a sticking button, but can't see anything suspicious.

Blinking stops when I move right hand YSP/TV slider to TV?

    Anyone had similar issue?

If an led on any remote is “blinking” on it's own that suggests a remote command is being transmitted.
The usual cause is a sticking button or moisture between the buttons and the rubber membrane/circuit board.
You'd need to take the remote apart to check.

Thanks guys! It eventually stopped completely, dead!
So as you suggested I took it apart and cleaned everything with a tissue soaked in Bushmill's Irish whiskey, and it now works perfectly!
(Of course Yamah told me it was not a repairable item, and I could buy a new one for £50 or so!)
