I'm new to AVForums and I'm jumping in feet first with a slightly vague question.
I have just watched Blade Runner - The Final Cut on 4K HDR and it's stunning, however the sound and the speech in particular is so so.
My TV is connected to my Yamaha AS501 and output to floorstanding speakers with a small sub adding a bit of heft. I do not want to go down the full cinema AV route so I was wondering if a sound bar would be an improvement over my current setup.
I'm currently looking at the Yamaha YAS-109 with DTS® Virtual:X™, I'm particularly interested in this sound bar as it has a sub out plus a HDMI in and a HDMI Arc out. Thoughts anyone?
