I've been away on holiday and came back and first time I used my receiver I noticed it said virtual on the display just above the speaker configuration. I don't think I've seen this before or am I just losing the plot? I've enclosed a pic...

The VIRTUAL indicator Lights up when the Virtual Presence Speaker (VPS), Virtual
Surround Back Speaker (VSBS) or the virtual surround processing is in operation.

Which of these is in use will depend upon how the receiver has been configured, the actual speakers present and or the DSP Mode if any are being employed.

It would be easier for you to read the manual on these features rather than to ret relate them all here.

Sorry what does ret relate mean? Thanks for the response though...

It is easier to ascertain what each feature relates to by reading the manual. I'd be basically copying what it says there if posting this information here.

I'll have a read of the manual again this week, think I've got a copy on my desktop. Thanks
