My old amp has died and im looking for a replacement this amps has caught my eye, my current set up is. 4 keff cresta1`s a kef centre and a keff psw1000,linked to a old but good pioneer dv626d multi region.

I only really use the setup for watching movies and the odd xbox blast.
Would this amp be suited and as im looking to go hdtv next year would it be up to the job?
Any other recomendations or adice would be great but my budget it £250

    Thx

a very good 6.1 amp in this price range. ( Aluminum front panel)
Characterized by its terrific home cinema performance.
it can easily drive the KEF cresta1 and centre.
    I myself tried 557 and 6 KEF CODA7 with a wharfedale 12 inch subwoofer.
really touched by the stunning performance.
in short. it really worth the price.

I've got one sitting in the box begging to be set up but I need to order the speakers first - going to order the canton cd1 with a cd50 for the centre. should have it set up mid next week. I'll give a report on how it sounds asap.

Thx for all the advice but in the end a deal on a rxv 650
came up and i went for that, and i must say im very impresesed.
    great with films and music.
But i think im going to need to upgrade my speakers asap to get the
most out of the new amp.
Oh and its prolly going to take a year to learn how to use it, much
more complicated than my old sony
    Thx
