Yamaha RX-V750

    I'm looking to replace my now aging Maranz SR5000SE processor with the above Yamaha, once of the main reasons being upconversion to Component video to drive my plasma.
    One of the questions I have, is does the audio digital decoder support DVD audio/SACD.
    I currenty have a pionner 525 that can handle the above media, but in my quest in reducing the cable jumble (not wife friendly) I was wondering if I could take the digital out from the DVD player and pass it to the Yamaha?

    Any comments would be appriciated.
