Yamaha rx v6a no front display

Hi folks I am new to this group but already need some assistance if possible. I have a Yamaha rx v6a receiver I've owned it from new for about 3-4 months , I went to use it this morning and although it powers on and I can get sound the front display on the unit is off, it's not in eco mode and dimmer is set to zero. Has anyone had the same issue with theirs

Reset unit to factory defaults. If the front display won’t come on, then avr has a hardware fault.

It's not it pure direct mode? This intentionally turns off the display and bypasses bass management.

No not in pure direct mode, but just by pure luck the display came back on thank god
