I have this setup which I find very satisfying for my use:

    - Yamaha RX-V671 Receiver
    - Wharfedale Diamond 10's Loudspeakers

I normally play my music via PS3 connected to the receiver. I was going to fit the PS3 into another setup (TV only).

I was going to use the Yamaha+Wharfedale setup for music & maybe a movie here and there. I have found a slightly used Denon DVD-1800BD player for a great price. Will this player produce good quality music from my CD's? I am not expecting audiophile quality but will it be at least VERY decent. Because as I see it I have 2 options...

    - 1) Buy Denon DVD-1800 BD for 90 Euros. Play music + movies on it.
    - 2) Buy Marantz CD5003 + Sony BDP-S390. Around 300 euros both.

Will the Denon produce comparable quality on my setup please? I ask since I don't have a dedicated 2 Channel Hi-fi Amp or Speakers so would investing in a dedicated CD player just be a waste of money? Thanks fro any help in advance :smashin:!

IMO they will all play cd's as well as each other. Might be a difference in load up times and ease of use though?
