Yamaha RX-V671 Pure Direct & DTS-HD Master Audio

I have a Yamaha RX-V671 and I have the audio from my Media Centre going through it (via HDMI). Some of my content is DTS-HD Master Audio which the Yamaha supports, and it comes up as DTS-HD MSTR on the screen when playing back.

The Yamaha has a 'Pure Direct' mode which I've not yet used, but wondered if I do use it, will the audio that it outputs still be DTS-HD MSTR or will 'Pure Direct' not decode it as DTS-HD?

When you enable Pure Direct, it powers off the front screen of the amp, so I can't see the Decoder info that's there when Pure Direct isn't switched on. Playback is still coming through all 5.1 speakers when Pure Direct is enabled, I just wasn't sure if it's still DTS-HD?

The audio will still be DTS-HD Master Audio while the amp is in Pure Direct mode. Pure Direct turns off all circuitry not required, but the audio format coming into the amp is still the same audio format and the amp will still perform any required decoding in association with that format.
